It was a very bad hard court season start for Gisela Dulko.
She was defeated in the first round of Stanford by Michelle Larcher de Brito, who is ranked 226 in the WTA rankings, in 2 sets 7-5 y 7-6 (7-1), the match lasted 1 hour and 46 minutes.

Larcher de Brito, is consider the future of women's tennis, and now will face Serena Williams.

Gisela Dulko felt at doubles as well, she was playing with Shahar Peer and they were the 3rd seed, but they lost in a super tie break

This was a tournament to forget for Dulko let's hope she gets her game back in Los Angeles....
